Why there's no contact form
A form has to send what you type to a server. BidPaper doesn't run one that receives your content — that's the same architectural decision that keeps your estimates on your device, and it applies here too. An email goes directly to us and nowhere else in between.
What helps when reporting a problem
- Which browser and device you're on
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead
- Whether it happens every time or just once
Please don't send us a document with a real client's details in it. We don't want it, and we can't take custody of it. A description, or the same problem reproduced with made-up names, is more useful and safer for everyone.
Things we can't help with
- Recovering lost documents. They're stored in your browser and we have no copy — that's the whole design. If you have a backup file, we can help you restore it.
- Reviewing your estimates or contracts. We don't see your documents, and we aren't lawyers or accountants.
- Chasing your customers. We make the paperwork; collecting is yours.
Privacy requests
Data-subject and privacy requests go toprivacy@bidpaper.com, which reaches the same people but keeps formal requests separate from bug reports. Worth knowing before you write: we hold nothing about your documents at all. See the privacy policy for what little there is.
